The logic behind Forward Geometry is all about the mast track position in relation to the center of the board. The further forward the mast can go the better, it improves maneuverability, response and dramatically reduces the rotational swing weight effect. Combine this with state-of-the-art 320mm Carbon fiber A+System Mast Tracks and you have maximum potential to get your board and foils geometry working for you!

Without question, shorter boards offer superior maneuverability, feel and control once on the fly but getting them there is not so easy. Until now that is, as boards get shorter it becomes important to maximise stability and hull speed when still attached to the water. The new Forward Geometry shapes from Armstrong have addressed this issue with a beautiful innovative approach enabling everyone to take advantage of the benefits riding shorter boards.

The new Forward Geometry range of boards are packed full of innovation.

Forward Geometry… Our new A+System Mast Tracks are positioned well forward in the board to reduce rotational swing weight which radically improves handling and response.
High strength custom Carbon fiber A+System Mast Tracks… Plastic simply does not do the job well enough, so we designed our own 320mm Carbon Fiber mast tracks.
Recessed deck… This brings you closer to the mast top for direct handling and feel.
Extended waterline profile view… Speed is the key, so we use all the boards waterline to help accelerate the board forward.
Aggressive nose rocker into an accentuated double concave to flat… This is all about bringing the nose up quickly to accelerate the water down the double concave to flat bottom at the tail.
Innovative tail shape… For better acceleration, less drag at the rear waterline release area, it looks faster because it is!
Accentuated chines… As the board picks up speed and the foil starts to lift, the contact area reduces, making for a smooth transition from on the water to foiling and also seamless touchdowns as the board does not grab as it touches the water’s surface.
Stable Volume distribution… The recessed deck, wide Chisel nose and relatively rectangular outline means we can push the volume to the extremities, makes for a stable platform when on the water.
Light and strong… Lightweight is nothing without strength so we have chosen the best materials to keep the boards both light and strong. Foam core with multiple PVC reinforcements, Dual Carbon stringers, covered with Carbon fiber and Dyneema cloth.

Warranty Information

Armstrong design and manufacture the strongest, most durable Foils on the market. Not only do we take the foil experience to a whole new level, our warranty is also market leading. Armstrong offers Foils and Hardware – 12 Months Armstrong Warranties Foils and Hardware to be free from major defects in manufacturing or material defect for a period of Twelve months from the date of purchase. Armstrong do not cover UV damage, please understand that UV rays and excessive heat can damage the carbon foil, keep it out of direct sunlight and always use the covers provided to protect the foil from the sun and knocks/bangs. Unlike most other Brands, Armstrong do warranty the Foils in the Surf. Boards Warranty – 6 Months Armstrong Warranties Boards to be free from major defects in manufacturing or material for a period of six months from the date of purchase. The Warranty does not cover impact damage or any UV Damage. Please only use Armstrong Hardware to attached the Mast to the Board. Armstrong will not Warranty damage caused to the Foil Box by 3rd party or aftermarket hardware. Always keep the Boards in Armstrong Board bag and out of excessive heat. A-Wing and Boards Warranty – 6 Months Armstrong Warranties the A-Wing to be free from major defects in manufacturing or material defect for a period of six months from the date of purchase. The Warranty does not cover damage caused by use in waves or shore break, Never inflate the A-Wing higher than 8psi, The warranty will be void for over-inflation. Warranty Terms - General The Armstrong warranty is subject to the following limitations; The warranty is valid only when the product is used for its intended use and does not cover products used in rental or teaching operations. Armstrong will make the final warranty determination, which may require inspection and/or photos of the equipment, which clearly show the defect(s). Defective product and/or Images must be sent to the Armstrong dealer or Armstrong directly depending on the place of purchase. If a product is deemed to be defective by Armstrong, the warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective product only. Armstrong will not be responsible for any retrospective costs due to loss of use or damage to Armstrong product. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or normal wear and tear including but not limited to; rigging with other than Armstrong components, damage due to excessive sun exposure, damage caused by improper handling or storage, and damage caused by anything other than defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is voided if any unauthorized repair, change or modification has been made to any part of the equipment. The warranty for any repaired or replaced equipment is good from the date of the original purchase only.
