Naish 2026 Windsurfboard Mutant Carbon Sandwich

The Mutant Carbon Sandwich is a maneuver-oriented freeride board built for riders who like to mix it up. It is not a slalom board and it is not a pure wave board. It sits in the middle, fast and easy to ride, with the control to carve, jump, and play when conditions change.

Use it for coastal bump-and-jump, inland lake sessions, playful surf, and freeride cruising with a bit of freestyle. Multiple footstrap positions let you tune your stance for comfort, control, or a more surf-style feel. Thruster side slot boxes give you another layer of tuning, so you can set the board up to match the conditions and your riding preference.

A slight bottom bevel helps the board release cleanly and get going early without feeling twitchy from rail to rail. A balanced outline and a longer planing surface than a typical wave board improve early planing and carry speed with less effort.

The medium-high nose rocker is high enough to handle chop and wave conditions, while staying efficient on flatter water. The result is one board that stays fun and predictable across a wide range of spots and sessions.

Improved durability
For durability, we placed UC carbon strips on the deck and bottom, plus wood reinforcement in the stance area. You get strength where you load the board most.

Multi-position footstraps
Multiple strap inserts let you tune stance and leverage. Set it up for freeride comfort, jump control, or a more surf-style feel.

Thruster side slot boxes
Side slot boxes support a thruster-style setup and allow tuning with different fin choices. Adjust grip, looseness, and control to match conditions. Side fins are not included.

Early release bottom bevel
A slight bottom bevel helps the board release and plane earlier. It also reduces rail to rail rocking and keeps the ride stable when powered.

Balanced outline and longer planing surface
A balanced outline with extra planing length builds speed with less power. You get earlier planing and easier speed carry than a typical wave board.

Medium-high nose rocker
Nose rocker gives confidence in chop and waves without feeling slow on flat water. You get a board that handles rough water while staying efficient.
