FLUID SPEED AND CONTROL, RIGHT FROM THE START
The revised high aspect-ratio design improves low-end power over the Flux V1 while retaining — and refining — its sporty top-end feel.
Thanks to the Ultra-X Aluula airframe, optimised sail tension, and a 20% weight reduction (on average compared to the Flux V2), the Ultra-X offers enhanced performance across the board—from upwind angles to slick gybes, tech jumps to smooth tacks.
Every manoeuvre is more fluid, responsive, and controlled.
ULTRA-X PERFORMANCE UPGRADE SUMMARY
- Built with Aluula — a composite material significantly stiffer and lighter than traditional Dacron — the Flux V2 Ultra-X features a thinner leading edge and strut, boosting aerodynamic efficiency across every phase of your ride.
- Stay on the water longer with outstanding top-end comfort and extended control across a huge wind range.
- Ride faster and point higher with supercharged upwind performance.
- Lighter and stiffer, the wing redefines manoeuvrability — featherlight, inspiringly balanced and powerfully tuned.
SHAPE & TENSION – LONGER LASTING FEEL
Two years of refinement since the Flux V1 have led to significant improvements in sail shaping and tension management.
You’ll notice:
- Enhanced aerodynamics improve ease of handling
- Unique seam layout ensures excellent chordwise and longitudinal tension
- Less performance drop-off over time
- Taut trailing edge and anti-flap battens give you more control at high speeds and improved comfort in overhead manoeuvres
The result: high-speed control with easier handling in every session.
RIGID POWER HANDLES
Borrowed from our Flow wing, the Flux V2 Ultra-X features extended, EVA-covered carbon handles with ergonomic grip bumps.
The longer front handle simplifies one-handed control, enabling expressive carving and free-flowing movement.
Meanwhile, the new, stiffer leading edge handle delivers high levels of control with the wing flagged out.
ENHANCED WINDOW DESIGN
A larger, repositioned window provides clearer visibility — so you can always see who’s around you on the water.
FEEL EVERYTHING, DO ANYTHING
Experience raw acceleration, direct feedback, and next-level control. The Flux V2 Ultra-X doesn’t hold back—it’s freeride performance, supercharged.

ULTRA-X: MORE THAN JUST WEIGHT SAVINGS
Ultra-X is our umbrella term for any product that focuses on a specific discipline and produces performance levels above and beyond the ‘industry standard’.
Not limited to a single aspect of design or particular material, Ultra-X represents our commitment to peak performance. It’s about finding and applying the innovations that will help push the boundaries of a particular discipline or riding style — whether ultra-light, ultra-strong, ultra-stiff, or ultra-responsive.
ULTRA-X PERFORMANCE ACCESSORIES
We’re including some extra accessories with all new Flux V2 Ultra-X wings which we’re sure will enhance your experience:
TECHNICAL BACKPACK WITH INTERNAL COMPRESSOR BAG
Use the specially designed internal compressor bag for improved protection of Ultra-X wing materials. Fold the wing in sections, and then clip it securely to fit inside the technical backpack.
WING WAIST PADDED BELT WITH SLIDING HARNESS HOOK & SWIVEL LEASH LINE
The support of our Wing Waist Padded Belt with sliding harness hook will help you crank harder upwind and ride faster for longer without sacrificing body movement.
The Waist Padded Belt comes pre-attached to the Swivel Leash Line.
(The standard Waist Belt is available as an optional extra)
WING HARNESS LINE
Comes pre-attached to the handles, but can easily be removed if not needed.

MORE GUIDANCE:
Choosing Between the Flux V2 & Flux V2 Ultra-X
One Wing Profile. Two Distinct Experiences.
While the Flux V2 and Flux V2 Ultra-X share the same core DNA — including a similar outline and canopy layout — the difference lies in the materials and how they translate to performance, feel, and long-term durability.
The Ultra-X, with its distinctive golden Aluula airframe, is built for riders who demand the absolute pinnacle of performance. The Flux V2, on the other hand, is more rugged and accessible—offering incredible freeride capability with maximum durability and value.
Capability, Durability & Value
The Flux V2 is a freeride machine that delivers immediate control, speed and comfort for a wide range of riders.
- Built with durable Teijin triple ripstop Dacron, it’s engineered to take abuse — from sessions on the water to scrapes on the beach.
- Offers more stiffness, speed, and upwind performance than the Flux V1, at a lower price point than the Ultra-X.
- A fantastic all-around package for riders who want high performance, rugged reliability, and progression-friendly handling.
In many real-world riding environments, the Flux V2’s thicker airframe material adds peace of mind in terms of long-term wear and tear — especially in high-use or abrasive conditions.
Pure Performance Priority
The Flux V2 Ultra-X is a no-compromise performance upgrade for riders chasing maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
- 20% lighter (on average) than the Flux V2 thanks to its Aluula airframe construction.
- Thinner leading edge and struts reduce drag and increase speed, upwind angles, and overall responsiveness.
- The increased stiffness and lighter weight also improve manoeuvrability, especially in overhead and flagged-out positions.
Every detail is tuned for high-speed control, low-end power, and maximum connection — ideal for riders who want to push their limits with every session.
