The Whiskey Otter is a lovely long straight canoe paddle that leans firmly towards the fine art of 'silent hunting strokes' of the Native Americans, where it is intended that the blade should remain in the water throughout the stroke and is accordingly, designed to excel in flatter water environments!
But don't feel this is the only way you can use it, as it performs incredibly well in a wide varitey of paddling conditions. You will quickly love the long blade that makes every stroke count while you will also really appreciate its beauty on and off the water.
This is a very tough canoe paddle with a fiberglass re-enforced blade and ultra-durable laminated shaft.
The Whiskey Otter also has a clear, poured, wrap-around, epoxy blade guard for solid protection against rock damage.
